Nancy Angard, RNC, BS, Director of Professional Excellence and Clinical Practice/Retention and Recruitment, invited to prepare a manuscript based on her poster presentation "Bringing Evidence-Based Practice to the Bedside" (presented at AWOHNN in June 2006) to MCN, The American Journal of Maternal Child Nursing.

Margie Boyer, RNC, MS, Administrative Director of the Women’s Center, won the poster session award for her poster titled, "Going For the Gold, Improving Women’s OR Efficiency", at the AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrical, Neonatal Nurses) Florida Georgia Section Conference in Destin, FL in May 2006.
