Health Source

At the heart of Community Outreach efforts is Health Source, a vital community resource that offers health education, wellness information, physician referral, and screening services.

Why does University Community Hospital offer health and wellness information? Because improving the health care system includes a greater emphasis on disease prevention. The key to prevention is teaching people how to live healthier.

Each month, UCH offers a variety of health and wellness classes taught by members of our medical staff and other health care professionals. In addition, Health Source can enroll you in one of the many support groups we sponsor. Watch for newspaper ads listing our class schedule. Stop by and pick up the monthly class listing or call us at (813) 615-7300 and we'll send you a copy. For a listing of this month's specific activities and events, click here.
