Cardiovascular Care Units

Pepin Heart Hospital's cardiovascular care units offer the most sophisticated and comprehensive services available to cardiac patients. The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and Cardiovascular Surgery Unit (CSU) feature a unique patient-centered design for superior patient visibility and accessiblity to a central nurses station surrounded by patient rooms. 

The Cardiovascular Care Units also feature a 48-bed interventional cardiology unit, and a 33-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU). All rooms are outfitted with the latest in telemetry monitoring. Registered nurses certified in critical care nursing and telemetry technicians with EKG training staff the units. 

Other units include our state-of-the-art cardiac catherization labs, electrophysiology labs, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, echocardiology, and vascular tilt.
