Atrial Fibrillation
Atrial Fibrillation, or AFib, is a condition in which the heart beats in irregular and abnormally rapid rhythms, causing it to pump less effectively. According to the American Heart Association, more than 2 million Americans currently live with AFib. Although AFib itself is not life-threatening, it can lead to other very serious conditions, including congestive heart failure and stroke.

For more information about AFib, follow the links below.

If you would like to speak to someone regarding Atrial Fibrillation, contact the Heart Rhythm Center at Pepin Heart Hospital at (813) 615-7008.
