Atrial Fibrillation
Atrial Fibrillation, or AFib, is a condition in which the heart beats in irregular and abnormally rapid rhythms, causing it to pump less effectively. According to the American Heart Association, more than 2 million Americans currently live with AFib. Although AFib itself is not life-threatening, it can lead to other very serious conditions, including congestive heart failure and stroke.
